The
aim of the Show is to promote 4WDing as a responsible recreation. We
promote this through the provision of skills development, safety
lectures and demonstrations on the day. We try and emphasise the use of
4WDs in support of family-friendly activities such as camping, car
rallies, navigation skills, community support such as Landcare,
emergency management support and networking with rural
communities. We support the role of 4WD Clubs and the peak body of
4WD Clubs in Victoria, 4WD Victoria.
We
encourage all 4WD Clubs to use our camping facilities for the weekend
of the Show. It is a great opportunity for all Clubs to get together,
network and connect with their vehicle dealers and the major exhibitors.
Join our traditional Saturday night entertainment and spit roast
prepared by the master LROCV chefs!
The
Show is also a prime opportunity for Club member recruitment - just
check the car park! Prospective members can be shown responsible skills
and techniques on the Adventure Circuit, a Show exclusive. Those
attendees who wish to drive on the Adventure Circuit must be members of a 4WD Victoria-affiliated 4WD Club and have passed driver awareness training.
Each 4WD Club site booking is provided with four free $16.00 entry passes.
The
LROCV Organising teams 4WD Club Coordinator is ready and waiting to
meet and present to your Club to explain the Show and the positive
experiences other Clubs have had with this event. Click here to contact us with your details.
